When a factory driver extends an invitation, you drop everything. Filipe Albuquerque brought me inside Nielsen Racing's battle at the ELMS finale in Portimão, and what unfolded was pure racing theater. The roar of the LMP2 prototype, the smell of racing fuel hanging in the Algarve air, the visceral intensity of wheel-to-wheel combat at 305 km/h. This is why we live for motorsport... and photography!
